Summer Camp 2016

This summer, Nordiska Centerungdomens Förbund (NCF) invites you as a member organization to take part of our summer camp in Umeå, Sweden! We’ve applied for a ton of money to make this possible, and we were lucky enough to be able to make it happen!

The theme is What does it mean to be Nordic? where we explore the cultural, political, historical and gastronomical dimensions of living in Norden. We’ll have baking competitions, night runs, debates, speakers and of course a ton of fun in the Swedish skärgård!

The theme will be Nordic cooperation, where we will dive deep into our common history, language, culture and cuisine - and explore and cherish our differences.

When is it? The summer camp will be held from the 27th to the 31th July 2016.

For who is it? For anyone from an NCF member organization who is 18 years old. It’s for actives in member organizations of NCF from all levels: local, regional, national and international.

Where will it be held? Northern Sweden in Vesterbotten, near Umeå. CUF Vesterbotten is the host in terms of the facilities, SU and NCF will help build the programme in collaboration with CUF.

What will we do? 50-50 – we will have seminars, have cultural excursions and so forth. We also want time to play, have fun and build friendships. Alcohol is not banned, but is not allowed in the day programme, is consumed in responsible amounts and in a controlled enviroment.

What can I do if I want to register?

Contact your secretary general of your own organization to register!

We hope to see you for some awesome days!
